08 Mar 02 - 03:08 PM (#665254) Subject: Enjoy Yourself From: GUEST,Joe Fogey I recently heard a parody verse for the song Enjoy Yourself (It's Later Than You Think) which involved an inexperienced young woman milking a cow - the last line has the cow saying "You hold on tight while I jump up and down". Does anyone know this or any other verses to this song? |

18 Mar 02 - 02:57 PM (#671429) Subject: RE: Enjoy Yourself From: GUEST,Joe Fogey Thanks - thats a lot more words for the straight version than I'd previously found. What's this Homer and Jethro version? The bloke I heard it from is a pianist who used to play it in a concert party in Plymouth (England) in the 50s and early 60s. Someone else suggested that Bennie Hill had used the verse about the cow, but I would have thought that would have to have been later, so maybe he pinched it. Joe |
