With an enormous bit of luck he might be at the Bishop's Castle Folk Weekend which is 24th-26th May I believe. I know the Shropshire Bedlams and Martha Roden's Tuppeny dish are dancing at the fest so maybe John K will be playing with them. |

If there's nohing currently available get in touch, I could copy a tape. (2) Ironbridge Hornpipe, edited Gordon Chapman, published Dragonfly Music, is a reprint of the MS collection of 19th century Shropshire fiddlerJohn Moore. It is currently in print, I'm a computer search would quickly locate a source.(3) I could mail you a copy of the Boat Band CD if Cheshire tunes: it is not commercially available, we made a rough home-recording for workshop use but I couls happily supply you with a copy.PM me for further info, or if you're not a Mudcat member my email is boatband@cwctv.net |
