WE've got a small but elite group singing on Paltalk, in the Mudcat Song Circle Room. I'm there, and Norton!, and CyderDrinker, and me, and maybe another singer. MaryInKy is here listening.

Come join us! Lot's of fun!

Can anyone give me info on Paltalk? What is it, how do I get it, what computer requirements, and what do I need to join/listen in?

Pardon my ignorance, but it's only because I am! :-)

Go to Paltalk Website and download the paltalk software, which you need to register also (don't worry, it's free if you don't mind a few adverts).
when it's running, you need to browse the groups (making sure 'Adult' is checked) and look for 'Mudcat Song Circle'. Double click to join. Some first-time users experience audio glitches, but we'll try and sort that out on the wing.
Paltalk requires a PC running Windows 95/98/NT/XP. For Audio you'll need a soundcard with speakers/headphones, and to join in and play or sing you'll need a microphone hooked up to it as well.

Macs running a Windows emulator also CAN do PalTalk. See Mac-MIDI thread for details.

No PT for us today. Thinking about a Good Friday song circle tho, around noon Mudcat time.
