Think there was a thread regarding this a while ago, can't recall the name. If you like RUS, though, you may want to check out "The Folksingers Wordbook" which just got back into print a couple of years ago. I find the two to be great companion books, each supplanting the other. |

The second Rise Up Singing book is definitely a work in progress, but don't hold your breath, it may be a couple of years yet (don't have a recent estimate). The first RUS took a long time due to the necessity of getting all the copyright permissions, above board. The second one is no different in that regard. So keep not holding your breath. The good news: he also said they're going for more rowdy, bawdy, perhaps even politically incorrect material. So it'll seem less like the ultimate hip Quaker hymn book. W-O |

Also, I posted a note about DT...I downloaded it a year or two before with my MAC, but with my son's fooling around with my data storage, it's gone away...Wanted to do it again, but now I see that they say they don't have a MAC version, yet!... How many years are we Non-Bill Gates supporters going to be discriminated against?, & can I at least get an old version, then? |
