My question is this: HOW DO I DELETE THESE ITEMS either separately or as a list ? Art Thieme |

I have my browser set to clean out my "Temporary Internet Files" whenever I close the browser. (It doesn't touch my cookies.) I used to have old searches come up in the box when I started typing, but it doesn't happen anymore. There are directions in the FAQ under Technical Advice/How to Log In. Click here for that section in the FAQ. |

On a normal search engine like Google or Yahoo, how do I delete items stored on the scroll that descends from the line where one would type in what you're searching for? Hope that's a bit clearer. Repeat for each item you want to discard. Not as fast as Jeff's method, but his also has the effect of clearing information for all forms, and I seldom want that to happen. |

31 Mar 02 - 05:55 PM (#680353) Subject: RE: BS: how to delete search engine scroll items From: Giac I have a Google search tool bar. To clear the dropdown, I left click once on the multi-colored Google icon to the left. It gives me an options menu, which includes "Clear search history." I just discovered this yesterday when I was wondering the same thing. Mary |
