I have learned Andy's Gone with Cattle this week, polished up some new fiddle tunes, and going to start in on an old English hymn. Also finished a song I started writing months ago, and working on finishing a few others. And.... I baked a chocolate cake. From scratch. The last time I tried this, I failed miserably. This time, I succeeded. :-) Who's next? |

From: MMario For Easter I baked a desert (individual white chocolate almond sponge cakes) the entire family ate and enjoyed. That makes a first! I've managed to finish memorizing another "pub sing" type song - I should work harder at this - but when I'm in a group I can sing 'em - iot's only when I try to lead or solo that I forget the words... |

From: Jerry Rasmussen My gospel quartet has just been booked to open for the Dixie Hummingbirds... one of the greatest black gospel quartets of all time. They're celebrating their 70 somethingth anniversary. If the name isn't familiar, they backed Paul Simon on Loves Me Like A Rock. They have also recorded the song on their own.
