Damn --- thought you meant St Albans Hertfordshire! Nice site though, looks like a good festival. It'd be worth going all that way to see if Alison Boyd ever drops her bodhran! *BG*

Hubby & I will be there.

I've just refreshed the thread about Callie's Women's Vocal Orchestra in Sydney because I found out that Touchwood is playing in Newcastle this weekend, so I posted their gig list and it includes Snalbans.

well I did see Callie briefly... missed you Helen.... I was kept pretty busy

we were very lucky with the weather, and got a great crowd of people who seemed to enjoy it...... part of the problem with being one of the organisation team is not getting much chance to sit down and enjoy it...... but we had a ball... the local policeman reckoned we had 1000 people there on Friday night for the Eric Bogle concert!! not bad for a little festival!!

I have a dose of the dreaded lurgy, so we were going to just be there Saturday and go home Sunday, and then we just didn't make it. I wasn't looking forward to nursing the 'flu without creature comforts like elec-trickery, and with the added discomfort of sitting around in the cool night air.

I'm sorry I missed Snalbans, but this 'flu-thing has been hanging around me for weeks without getting better and without hitting the really extreme level either. Helen
