Help: Flook CDs , Celtic Mettle CDs - advice

Hi,

I am looking to get some music by Flook and by Celtic Mettle.

Can anyone recommend CDs by these bands. I know Flook have several - I guess I'm asking which one you think is the best.

If it helps - here are some other CDs I have enjoyed:

Dieseal, The long long note; Harry Bradley - Bad Turns, Horseshoe Bends ; Dervish - Harmony Hill; Altan - best of ; Solas - The Word Remains the Same; Liz Carroll - Lost in the Loop

Dear Jiggers,

Flook's "Flatfish" CD is a stunner...one of my favourites. I'm afraid, however, I'm not familiar with Celtic Mettle.

However, try to get hold of last year's (German) Irish Folk Festival CD - OK, the Flook tracks aren't perfectly mixed (IMO; the second flute part is too far back), but the whole thing is stunning - especially Rowsome's piping . .
