I should warn it's addictive.

I think the 'cure'to the addiction is getting annoyed with yourself cos youre slow at it..then giving up in disgust......*G*

I got 0 seconds!

I tried it twice and got 0.298 and 0.297 seconds. I am not going to keep trying bevause it sure seems like it could be addictive. What kind of times do you guys get ? Oh yeah, what's the formula to account for being hungover ?

You never did, John from Hull!! How did you manage that???

Igot a 0.06 one time, but I think I anticipated the command and clicked before it changed. My average was about 0.23. It seems if you change colors your times change also. For me the blues gave a quicker response time than the reds did. Interesting!! Thank you Amy!

My general good average seems to be around 0.28 seconds. Nobody can get it in 0 seconds, unless he is a time traveler or is anticipating the change and clicking before he actually sees it happen!

There should be some sort of reward for scoring less time, shouldn't there?

Ahah! Just scored 0.22 seconds...

Why am I doing this?

If you hold down the 'Stop' button and let it up when the background changes, you can get a faster score.

Aha.... well I was getting around .28 - .33....my best was .27

I'll try the Stop button method.

Shhh, never tell anyone you're cheating.

Well, doing that improved my time to mostly around the .22 mark... though one time did it in .17

Trying to steer clear of it today though...oh, ok, maybe just ONE go at it....

Is 27 hours 3 minutes and 47 seconds any good?

I going to brag-I got 0 seconds twice and .05 once. Other than that I was asked if I was drunk, or sleeping!

.28 a couple times, more often it was .33. Pretty bad. I console myself with the fact that I have won expet Minesweeper in under 10 seconds.

Actually, I just won it in 1 second.

My computer colors are all funky... "Coral" was the same color as straight red (So I was waiting for it to turn another color), and dark olive green looked the same as black...

Don't know how to fix that...

Anyway, my best times hover around the .3's...

be warned..this does not seem to work in the Opera browser!...once I switched to Netscape, I started getting pretty regular .22s...do I win something? If you just 'guess' long enuf, you'll eventually get .001, I guess

and moving to crimpson, I get mostly .17s and one .16...I guess being a Taurus, the red flag got me humming!

I got .05 after a few .33's and one awful .78, without even drinking! Didn't try the different colours nor holding the button down. Pretty funny!

Down right Addicting, like that silly "slap my hand before I slap yours"

The timings are:
Response time > 0 and <0.01 you'd score "You are the king!"
Response time >.01 and <.05 you'd score "You have the reflexes of a snake"
Response time >= 0.05 and <.10 you'd score "Well done!"
Response time >= 0.10 and < 0.20 you'd score "Nice!"
Response time >=0.20 and < 0.30 you'd score "Could be better..."
Response time >=0.30 and < 0.60 you'd score "Keep practicing!"
Response time >=0.60 and < 1 you'd score "Have you been drinking?"
Response time >=1 you'd score "Did you fall asleep?"

Being a techno geek, I can see some busg in this, such as a click not registering, bad aim, etc. But it's still fun enough for me to steal snarf it.

I did something very similar for my "A" level biology project... but I added in eye hand co-ordination times between right and left hands....

got some interesting results from a musical point of view.....
guitarists seemed to be quicker with their left hands even if they were right handed (I assumed because of using the left hand to find notes).... and pianists had similar times with both hands.....

useless trivia for you..... so back you go guitarists and see if you can do quicker with your other hand..... *grin*

I'm not fast, but I'm consistent: .33 five times in a row. Could advanced years have something to do with it? I hit 74 last week. Just don't run out in front of my car -- please! No matter what color coat you're wearing.

consistent .22 seconds! How can anybody do it faster? I'll keep trying.....someother time! Addictive or what! Cheers, Lucy

Confirmed that the time-counter doesn't register when you click on their stop button but when you let go of your mouse button! I tried clicking-and-holding and, whether I clicked before or after the change of color, my "response time" was not recorded until after I released the stop button.
