We've been asked to do a Dutch themed evening singing as many relivant songs as possible!!!
We've only managed a few so far eg. the mouse in the Windmill, Gilly gilly oxenpepper (whatever)!!!, port of Amsterdam, Red Rose Cafe Anybody got any ideas - theme Dutch evening so any relivant - please let me know we've 2x45min spots to fill!

I think learning 1.5 hrs of new songs is going to be bad enough!!! let alone learning a new language - and if we bluff it, a Flying (or maybe Frying as it's in a restaurant!) Dutchman would be in the audience.....

I believe the Frieslanders can be the butt of Dutch jokes as they are a small corner, culurally and dialectically distinct and prefer not to be called Dutch, though they do acknowledge Netherlands, and maybe Benelux. |
