18 Apr 02 - 08:17 PM (#693265) Subject: RE: Lyr Req: Little Yellow God From: GUEST,Grayd I love music hall stuff. The dramatic monologues were very popular in Music Halls for some years but comedians couldn't resist ... erm ... taking liberties. I don't know if this will appear as a clicky but check out the wonderful site at:- http://www.monologues.co.uk/Greeneye.htm The original appears underneath Billy Bennett's version, followed by a Geordie version ("Geordie" refers to people from the Newcastle/Tyneside region of the UK - which has a somewhat distinctive regional accent - ref. trad. opus "Take yer boots off Geordie hinny")
