Well, isn't she the quiet one? I've never seen her post! Of course, I'm old and I forget stuff.

Happy Birthday, bet! Many happy returns!

Cheers, Fortunato

Yah! I am the OLDEST sister but you don't have to make me sound sooooo old. Ha! Nice to hear from you. I really think getting older is just another adventure. I plan on using mine to be happy and hpefully healthy. Next year I'm taking the biggest step on my life and begining the process of retiring from a job I love. Our PERA offers a great deal. I can teach another year, will almost a year, 110 days, and draw retirement pay also. They hope that it will help us be better able to 'retire'. So anyway, if I can find something sure to invest in I might have a little money to live on, the retirement pay is not great. Anyway, I get teary eyed when I think of leaving this great job. I have a real love for it. But as I said getting older is and adventure and I'm going to meet it head on. Thanks for the wishes. bet

Oh, dear, she's already repeating herself!**BG**

Ya know I love ya, sis! And, I AM proud of you. Those kids will miss you and the music you teach so well. I know you will find another adventure to love as well and will enjoy it as we totter off into the sunset, many, many years from now! (How was that, feel younger now, instead?:-)

Happy Birthday, bet. Enjoy it to the fullest!

And, re: retirement. I also left a job I loved at the beginning of 1998 and I found an entirely new adventure to consume me. So I recommend it highly for anyone that can swing it. Good luck!

At least I said I'd "totter," too! LOL...you, on the other hand, will probably be climbing mountains in yer 90's, so you've still got a long ways to go...maybe you'll do Devil's Tower, again, eh?

Forgot to tell you...your card and a "little something" will be going out in tomorrow's mail. I'm just a little slow and preoccupied these days. Can't imagine why, can you?:-)
