BS: Tough decisions

I haven't been around too much lately, so if this has already show up maybe a Joe clone can just nuke it. Otherwise, I found it amusing and tho't others might.

TWO TOUGH QUESTIONS.......

Question 1:
If you knew a woman who was pregnant, who had 8 kids already, three who were deaf, two who were blind, one mentally challenged, and she had syphilis, would you recommend that she have an abortion?

Read the next question before scrolling down to the answer to this one.

Question 2:
It is time to elect a new world leader, and your vote counts. Here are the facts about the three leading candidates:

Candidate A: Associates with crooked politicians, and consults with astrologists. He's had 2 mistresses. He also chain smokes and drinks 8 to 10 martinis a day.

Candidate B: He was kicked out of office twice, sleeps until noon, used opium in college and drinks a quart of whisky every evening.

Candidate C: He is a decorated war hero. He's a vegetarian, doesn't smoke, drinks an occasional beer and hasn't had any extramarital affairs.

Which of these candidates would be your choice?

Decide first, no peeking, then scroll down for the answer
. **********

Candidate A is Franklin D. Roosevelt
Candidate B is Winston Churchill
Candidate C is Adolph Hitler

And by the way, the answer to the abortion question:
If you said yes, you just killed Beethoven.

cheers,

david

The devil is in the details, David!

Lol! Thanks for the perspective, Dave.

Of course, you left out the little detail about Hitler's long romantic involvement with his niece that ended in her suicide.

It's also hard to engage in an extra-marital affair when you're married less than an hour before you die.

david, according to what I read in google, Beethoven was the second child of his parents- the first surviving child- and in '74 and '76 respectively, two more sons were born. Doesn't say anything about his mother being syphilitic.

Thanks, Ebbie -- I didn't say it was true, just that somebody sent it to me and I found it amusing.

I really didn't know much about Beethoven's family.....

cheers,

david

I know, david- and it doesn't mean that it's not true, it could be about someone else. Or perhaps true in a metaphorical sense. I just had an abrupt attack of preciseness.

I HATE it when the precisions attack -- I completely lose my grip on all my best illusions. Dang... :>)

I know one shouldn't apply logic (or facts) to jokes (and let me add I have smiled first before thinking, so thanks for that) but since it has started:

Saying 'you just killed Beethoven' is equivalent to the young boy in school who got an 'F' in mathematics and says to his teacher: "You did this to the future Einstein" (the name might be wrong, BTW).

And just to go on with the correction game: Hitler married Braun close to midnight 2 days before their suicide. So he could have...but he was quite busy those days.
