Mind you - I was only 6 or 7 when they recorded it, heheh..

I picked up a great wee cheapo cassette for the car the other day.. A Scottish Folk compilation with Matt McGinn, Owen Hand, The McCalmans, Archie Fisher, Ian Campbell and loads more. Think it was £1.99 - probably from Transalantic recordings back in the 60's.

Great for driving along and singing yer head off to, though...

Scabby,it sounds like that is the same ane as oan that site or mibbe volume 1.It says oan ane o' the blurbs that Hamish looked a bit like Burl Ives.At the end up Burl could hae fitted in Hamish's pocket. ljc Btw,that Nadia Cattouse record is gaun for $200,
