Songs from Singing the Fishing

I have recently listened a lot to the 'Singing the Fishing' CD. The Ewan MacColl songbook is a valuable help. However, there are some song fragments on that CD I cannot place. Sometimes the fragments obviously are recitatives to tell the story and most certainly have been written by Seeger/MacColl. But there are two song fragments I am not sure about.

I'd love to know whether these are written for the radio production or are traditional. If they are traditional I'd love to know under which title they are commonly known.

(1) Track 6 (same song seems to come up again in track 8):
some fragments:watch the diving gannet...for the sea is wide and deep...for talk won't pay your debts...it's tiem to shoot your nets

(2) Track 12:
simmer time did bloom...reminds us we are strangers...

I tried Google with my fragments but no luck.

Thanks for the help, but I doubt these two are from MacColl/Seeger. Most of the music has been written for the recording, but some is older material as e.g. "Up jumped the herring...". I presumed these two are also traditional, but with MacColl it is hard to tell which speaks for him.
