If you click on the "membership" link at the top of the Discussion page, you can sign up quickly. About all that is asked is name and email address - and you make up a password. Once you're a member, the "Quick Links" box includes "send a personal message." This lets you send info to one other member, without "sharing" it with the whole mudcat world. The "graphic format" means "what kind of picture files can you see." Most Windows machines will have some kind of program that will display bitmaps (.bmp) tagged image (.tif) etc files, but sometimes there's a problem in exchanging things - if you don't happen to have the "right" program to display what someone sends you. In fact, the whole site looks great! Lots of good stuff there to dig through. I think 3 finger, bluegrass style tabs can be found. This is a somewhat difficult tune and I haven't heard a lot of old time banjo pickers do it. I have access to lots of books and cant find it there either. I did PM BlueSage so maybe he'll get back in touch. The help and response means a lot....thanks everyone |
