22 May 02 - 05:46 PM (#715657) Subject: How things can change. From: GUEST,Petr its funny, almost a year ago this time I posted a message anonymously about a failed relationship and wondering if I should continue being friends with the woman in question or end the friendship. I got a number of replies. and one of them said, 'I still believe there is someone for everyone'. later that summer I became involved with another friend I knew from the music scene, and gradually one thing led to another. Last weekend we hiked up a mountain here on the BC coast and got engaged. (it wasnt really a surprise as we just bought a house together) but it just goes to show you how things can change in a a short time. I also remain on good terms with the other person. and I am much happier (which goes without saying). petr |
