OK...so that's not what it's called - but - any experience with elbow pain while playing? I've had tennins elbow before, this is different and I can only play for a few minutes before it hurts too much - yikes!

My young lady friend - don't tell the wife! - gets this. She needs a smaller guitar. She plays a dreadnought, but is quite petite. The awkward poisition she has to play in makes her tense up and this makes her ache.

There must be loads on the net about musician's aches and pains - it's a long recognised problem. But try to find a comfortable position and relax... Works when playing an instrument, too!

I have had a similar experience. What I ended up doing after a trip to the doctor was taking Ibprofen to reduce the swelling in the joint and I had to change how I positioned and used my arm while I was playing. The changing of posotion and use was a bit strange at first but I just used the return of the pain as a indicator of which did and didn't work. After a while you don't even notice.
