The only problem with clicking on your own name on the "From" line of your own post on any thread is that it'll bring up a list of all messages you posted under that exact name only. For example, if you click on my name on the "From" line of this post, you'll see all posts I made under my member name but not the posts I made before I was a member (where the "From" line reads "GUEST,SharonA"), nor the posts I've made more recently from computers I didn't log in to (such as "GUEST,SharonA at the library" or "GUEST,SharonA on vacation"). So, jimlad, if you're not sure whether you started your thread as a member or a GUEST, your best bet is to do a "Forum Search" by clicking-and-holding on the Quick Links pop-up box at the top of this page and scrolling down to "Forum Search". Then type your name in the "UserName" field and you'll get a list of all posts made with the name "jimlad" anywhere on the "From" line of any post. Clear as mud? |
