29 May 02 - 08:51 AM (#719405) Subject: Monday night session at the Jolly Angler From: Pied Piper Thanks to every one who attended the session on Monday, I'm sorry I couldn't make it. As there seems to be lots of support, the session will be happening from now on every Monday. This session is friendly, diverse and welcomes singers, but is not a sing/play around with an organiser. After some feedback from the participants it would be helpful if people could arrive a bit earlier say 8:30, as some players (including myself) have to get home on public transport and would miss a lot of the fun. All the best PP. |

This is a worldwide forum after all... |

Why assume it is the Jolly Anchor in Manchester, UK, when as far as I know there is not a pub by that name hereabouts! and then And bang goes my theory that it was just Americans who displayed this kind of ignorance followed with What should we mistake it for? Ineptitude? Oh dear... I'll tell you what. I'll keep going to the Jolly Angler. If I do find myself in the Jolly Wanker I might tread in something nasty. Don't bother replying dear troll. We have deigned to feed you a little. Don't expect a feast.

30 May 02 - 08:41 AM (#720125) Subject: RE: Monday night session at the Jolly Angler From: Pied Piper Thanks for the support chaps. I really didn't intend this to offend anyone, I thought that as there had been recent related threads giving the location of the Angler people would not need reminding. When I first suggested a Mudcat get together I used the phrase "Manchester UK". There are quite a lot of threads about events in America which do not locate them selves. All the best PP. |
