Help - Sheath & Knife thread?

Can anyone bring up the thread on Euan McColl's version of Sheath & Knife that was started on June 6? I was at Susan Friedman's on the way to Mystic, and she played the record so I could try to figure out what he's saying.

I thought I understood his refrains to be "The sun gaes tao and ower the wood," with ower pronounced OW-er rather than OH-er; and "God, gif we had never been sinned."

I wonder if the last bit is a colloquialism with the same general meaning as, "if only we had never gone and sinned," or as in, say, the sentence "Jimmy's been tossed my doll in the creek," "Jimmy's done tossed my doll in the creek," etc., where "gone and ---," "been and ---," or "done ---" carry an implication that someone did something they shouldn't have.

I'd really like a chance to read the thread & post to it, but whenever I try to retrieve all the threads for the last 7 days I get a message "The Page contained No Data."

Can anyone bring it up? Thanks, Rita
