I've watched the music credits...it isn't credited. Anybody know where it comes from? It sounds to me a lot like an older instrumental album done in the Northeast known as 'Wind in the Rigging' but I could be wrong. It's quiet and in snippets. It would be nice if some cable outlet could pick up two british series -- Danger Mouse and Count Duckula. Obviously the theme is a variant of 'Blow the Man Down.' Lately one of the incidental tunes has been a fine anglo concertina rendering of the minor-key air to the transportation ballad '10,000 Miles Away.' But I'm still not recognizing a couple of the Morris tunes as well as a real nice hornpipe played on concertina. |
