my brother is going to spitzbergen this sat, 6th july.

he's going to be doing mountaineering but he's also a folky too.

does anyone know of any folking about there, singarounds, music sessions etc?

thanks in advance for help.

regards,

mr h

Well, probably there is a whole lot of singing in the evening and not a whole lot of anything else. Talk about off the beaten path! You might even find some ancient coal mining songs. Send us a report of what your brother digs up.

Cheerily,
Charley Noble

How long is he away for? I've got some friends going to Spitzbergen next week as well!

Yeah, climbers, but on this occasion they're on a sailing trip. One of them has been before - I'll ask the question about music.
