Long before sunset, there was an amazing band on the corner. I stayed for hours. I wish I knew the name of that band. The band was interrupted by a wedding procession for a few minutes - can't say I minded that. It was the ultimate of cool. I couldn't believe I was right in the middle of all this wonderful music. Here's the Smoking Time Jazz Club, which is as good as the band I saw: Another New Orleans street band that I just love is Tuba Skinny: Any other favorite New Orleans street bands? |
