Are any other 'Catters (McGrath?, Breezy?) going to the Festival at Moreton, Essex, This coming weekend ? it's between Harlow and Ongar, not far from the M25 or M11. Contact details are available on The FolkRoots Festival Site.

Linda (Essex Girl) and I expect to be around from Friday to Sunday and we hope to see plenty of old friends.

I'll be there. Nick and Cathy are in France, so it will be solo.

I've got to be in Essex this weekend so I might give it a whirl. I'll be the one with the beard!

Had a geat time - good pub sessions. Thanks you Rosie et al for making it such good fun.

Looking forward to next year (June 14-16).

Only had a few hours there (the story of my life!) but it was fun while it lasted.

Especially enjoyed Dave and Essex Girl's songs in the White Hart.

Good weekend. I like the way Moreton Midsummer is somewhere where folk music is very welcomed and central - but for all that, it's not a folk festival, it's a village celebration.

I wrote a new song after spending Sunday there.
