Whittlesford being a few miles from the English Cambridge.
I'm getting the feeling that mini-festivals like this are a growing point in folk in the South of England anyway, while the big festivals are so often getting turned into business ventures by the pressures of competition and so forth. |

I normally go to the "competing" pub (the Bees in the Wall) on Fridays, but this looks like being fun. Graham. (Amazingly for a small village, Whittlesford actually has two folk clubs, the Red Lion specialising more in "trad" instrumental, and the Bees in the Wall being a play-anything-acoustic kind of affair.)
