13 Jan 97 - 12:54 PM (#1306) Subject: Lyric Request: From: abudd@geltzerpr.com My fiancee and I were driving in Connecticut last week, and heard a song on the radio that would be perfect for our wedding song, but we had never heard it before, and the radio station did not give the title or the artist. It sounded a little like Lenny Kravitz, and had the phrase: "Green eyed lady" or lady with the green eyes" (I can't remember exactly). ANY help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! |

13 Jan 97 - 02:01 PM (#1309) Subject: RE: Lyric Request: From: Jerry Friedman, jfriedman@nnm.cc.nm.us There was a song called something like "Green-Eyed Lady, Laughing Lady", by an otherwise obscure band called Sugarloaf, I think. A hit in 1970 plus or minus a couple years. I can be less precise if you'd like. It gets airplay on classic-rock stations, which would explain why they might not give any information about it--people who listen to those stations have already heard all the songs a thousand times. Is this the one you're looking for? |
