Peculiar Blue are playing a gig at The Tap & spile, Spring Bank, Hull at 9PM on Monday the 29th July, "Favourites around the West Riding folk scene for years, Paul & Lynn played at the New York Firefighters Concert at The Sun in Beverley last year, and have been fully booked up since" I have seen this duo, and I have got thir CD (And Petals May Fall), if you are in the area, or even if you're not! Try to go and see them, you will not be dissapointed.

John

I think that you plagiarised my festival programme notes in that last posting. Anyway, I forgive you because it was in a good cause.

I too have Paul and Lynn's CD and would urge people to go and see them perform if possible. R

What does plagarised mean? :-)

To plagiarise is to copy something without acknowledging where it came from, implying that it is your own work rather than somebody elses.

"Favourites around the West Riding folk scene for years, Paul & Lynn played at the New York Firefighters Concert at The Sun in Beverley last year, and have been fully booked up since" was copied from my description of them in the PVFF prgramme so I accused you of plagiarism - but only lightheartedly ;-)

Sue, Roger, jOhn's no stranger to the threat of litigation. Just a tip; Sue Brian the hamster, as jOhn has cunningly transferred his fortune to the little fellow, prior to a graffito attack on Barclays 9alledegly).

His fortune? I always suspected that he was an eccentric millionaire - must buy him a bear next time in the Sun.

A wise move, Sir Roger, as jOhn is indeed a millionaire, but not in the least eccentric. Technically, Brian is the millionaire, but jOhn is cynically controlling the poor wee chap, and after the poor fellow is banged up with Jeffrey, and jOhn has mysteriously acquired a cool million, and boasts harmonicas in every key, you and I will know the truth, and denounce the bounder as no better than Huntingdon Life Sciences 9alledigly).
