They have been going for years and years. Sorry don't know street but it is on main road from City Centre to Neville's Cross - Approx 1/2 mile from railway viaduct. If you like song you will have a GREAT night

There are 2 clubs in Darlington (12-15 miles south of Durham City) Every Tues at the Brittannia Pub Archer St Very near the town centre A good place for singers. A small room Every Thur at the Vane Terrace Art Centre About half a mile from the town centre They do have guests here at regular intervalstho not every week Bigger room Theres quite a bit more I will have to check Regards The Fantum |

Nice old fashioned club were all ages and abilities are not just tolerated but welcomed for their diversity. We went when I went to visit my daughter who is at University in Durham, so if you go and buy anything from the off licence on the corner over the bridge in the centre of Durham say hello to Charlotte for me I'm missing her! |

Folk Works is run by Alister Anderson and crew, they've been responsible for some of the finest musicians to come out of the north east of England recently. I think they have a web site but don't know the URL. |
