not sure of the mechanis of producing twin ducklings - but hey - if Castor and Pollux and their sisters could be twins...

Quacky Birthday to them both!

To Mootlefish and Boats,

Smooth roads, lovely toads,
Pups and kitties, too!
In your beds, things sweet,
at night for you to eat,
to make your dreams neat,
All this and Happy Birthday,
to you!

Great news - congratulations !! Now how about a personality report ? Which one is the holy terror, which one is shy ? Are they climbers ? Have they taken your instruments apart yet ? My Brendan is almost 20 months old - what do I have to look forward to ? Or watch out for ? Give my best wishes to the whole family.

Wow! And it doesn't seem 5 minutes since I photographed Rowan asleep in his dad's hat (in the tap & Spile) at Whitby!

Happy birthday to both of you!

Well Wesley, one things for sure you will have plenty to keep you busy in the next 18 months if Brendon is anything like these two. Molly being the eldest (8 minutes) and being a girl is the bossy one, learns songs after one or two hearings and sings note perfect!!!!Rowan is just a nutter - probably destined to take up the drums although at the moment he wants to learn banjo. Also has a very good ear for music and rhythm. As for climbing - well what can I say - we had to remove all the stair gates because he learned to climb them by putting his toes either side of the bars - he uses the drawers in the kitchen units as a ladder-can unfasten any child lock faster than an adult and regularly locks us out if we are foolish enough to leave the key in the lock while hanging out the washing! All keys have to be hidden as he can find the right one on the bunch and let himself out of the house. Never a dull moment but they are both as cute as pie and learning so much day to day its hard to keep up BTW Molly still has trouble pronouncing C and says T instead but as one of her favourite songs at present is Little Miss Muffet we cringe as we go round Tescos to the strains of "eating her turds and whey!!"

Brendan at almost 20 months is already turning on the VCR and loading his own tapes into the machine. He loves the Baby Mozart series and will watch them very quietly - over and over and over.... We're already working on limiting his access. We don't want him to be a TV junkie before he can talk.
