Thanks to everybody who helped make it a great weekend, despite the weather. I notice there were no takers for the life jacket! Can I go to bed now please?

'Course you can, Trevor!!!! We had a great time, thanks for inviting us.

Hopefully we'll see you tomorrow night, and please could you bring the folding chair that Julie left behind!!!

The beer is settling nicely, and I hope we have enough people at Pippin's to drink it all!!!

Thanks again Trevor,

Cheers, Bron.

A big thank you for looking after us so well Trevor, and a special thank you to Terry for showing me the buzzard. Weather might have been dreadful but the tent is dry now and we are left with a warm glow of new friends at Sqilver.

Love Al

PS Can I have a contact for Cath & Bill, I have a song for her. Cheers!

Trev: your weekend was like looking through a window into the past. A barn, bales, singing, dancing, children playing. The shared food was exceptional and Nev's beer was just the right finishing touch. Thanks Buddy.

Oh BTW (for the record) I sang;

Indian Lass (Trad) Van Demon's Land (sp?)(Trad, I think) Let no man steal your thyme (Trad)

And with Rapsquillion 2 non-conformist hymns. (Soon to be seen at Chasetown Folk Club 23rd Aug!!) Tee Hee

I remember some of the words:

Well me very, well me very, Well me very heart is broken........da da dada.......Good eh?

I heard Ian Giles sing it to a different tune.

Excellent recall, I have! #8-D

Enjoyed the singing, playing and dancing and friendship very much, and what a place to live!!

Must do it again sometime...

Oh dear, sorry I don't often see jests, especially when only in print. Did we sing it that badly? So sorry. (shuffles and hides head in shame)

I don't understand, Ali- you didn't sing anything badly. Have I missed something?

And Sal's just told me she's not off on one at all. So was it The White Cockade Ali? At Squilver, not in the pub.

Yes White Cockade, I thought everyone knew that song, we do Watersons version, so when you were questionning I thought you meant you did not recognise it cos we sang it so badly! Please send Caths address to abuwood@btinternet.com

Hi Ali - just me being dense I'm afraid.

The reason I asked was that I remember thinking at the time it sounded great and that Rapsquillion should do it but then afterwards couldn't for the life of me remember what it was I'd thought it about. If you see what I mean.

Cath & Bill's address is at home so I'll p-mail on Monday.

Cheers
