I know I'm a relative newbie, so, as someone pointed out on another thread, this topic's been covered. but here goes anyway! :) I like jalapeno peppers, bell peppers, Italian sausage, fresh mushrooms, and pineapple on my pizza - not necessarily altogether, but those are my favorite ingredients. I can't stand onions though. And Pepsi sucks big time. Diet Coke forever. ;~) |

I know the diff, anyway. As for Pizza...I am most likely allergic to wheat, so there goes my involvement. However, when I was in blissful ignorance of my allergy, I liked lots of sauce, less cheese, onions, black olives, and pineapple. |

Mozzerella and ground beef and Cheddar on top (Dominoes makes that one, it's the double cheeseburger pizza). 18 Aug 02 - 06:13 PM (#767613) Subject: RE: BS: *yawn* what's for lunch From: Peg I had pizza for lunch today! A slice of pepperoni from Boston House of Pizza. My pal with me used to live here and he always wants to get pizza there as he misses it. It has a thin savory crust, good sauce, lots of real cheese and good fresh ingredients. I enjoy pizza from Bertucci's too, and like gourmet style wood oven pizzas. Thin crust rules! Some of my favorite toppings include spinach, garlic, mushrooms and broccoli. But I also love plain old pepperoni. Water or beer to drink with it. Pudgies? from western NY??? My cousins own that business; Pudgie was my dad's cousin and his niece runs the shops now. Or is this another Pudgies' Pizza? I grew up eating this stuff and HATE IT. Thick doughy crust, too-sweet sauce with no seasoning, hardly any cheese; yuck.

Fabulous! Cheers, Nancy |

I also sprinkle some Parmesan cheese and red pepper on it. (the pizza, not the beer) But yesterday for lunch, I had mixed green salad with roasted red peppers, blueberries, gorgonzola cheese, and a couple teaspoons of olive oil and red wine vingegar. |
19 Aug 02 - 05:32 PM (#768124) Subject: RE: BS: *yawn* what's for lunch From: GUEST,Fred Miller I mainly don't like Papa Johns and will eat most others, don't mind onions but if I did, I'd avoid any so-called half-onion arrangements, there's no such thing. It all comes out onioned. If there's onion in the vicinity--it finds a way. I believe there is such a thing as Lunch pizza--thin crust and veggied. It's a different thing. Lazy quick-pizza, emergency pizza, is sliced foccacia with sundried-tomato basil spread. Hippie Chick what was that aol thing about? Can you come back over and just explain it? |

20 Aug 02 - 10:38 AM (#768534) Subject: RE: BS: *yawn* what's for lunch From: GUEST,Fred Miller Sure Hippie Chick, it was something about aol on my apology/intro thread. I will bid a less than fond farewell to aol today, and you made me curious. I dislike aol merely because it is an empirical example of that radical economic theorum that an inferior product can do well and even dominate a market, but I've heard there are other good reasons. Digression into an economic theory returns to pizza talk by way of aforesaid Papa Johns.

You know what's good? corn in the husk roasted in fire coals. My neighbors don't seem to mind our little pit, though I don't think I'm supposed to do it. Like anchovies, falafel also has to be fresh up, gets mealy thereafter. Is that a cautious G? okay. I am Fred Miller--I was just having fun with Guest because I think I'm so funny! and perceptive!
