Another singaround / session is being held 'Around the Table' at the Bull PH in Barton-le-Clay, Bedfordshire, from 8.30pm on Bank Holiday Monday 26th August.

Come-All-Ye, all acoustic instuments & voices very welcome :-)

I'm a little worried that the pub will be very busy on the Bank Holiday and the singers and musicians won't be able to find a seat. How will you cope if such an event occurs?

What-Ho William Guest: Good question! My wonderful co-host has already attended to this possibility and has arranged with our lovely Landlady that if the pub does get very busy on Bank Holiday Monday, she will open up the Function Room for us.

Personally I hope it will be busy as it's a Fab room and we could really make ourselves at home there! See you there then Mr Guest, a pint is it?

Rhiannon Honey: Many thanks for your kind words about our session. You & Mick will leave a huge gap at Barton when you stride off to your new life up the M1. You guys have helped us tremendously in making the Barton session such an enjoyable experience with your joy & wealth of music & we'll really miss you! May you always have music :-)

Just to say it was a grand singaround last night despite being the Bank Holiday! The pub did get a bit noisy towards the end (there was a bar extension) but we succeeded in making a good noise ourselves. I hope everyone enjoyed it as much as I did.

Thanks to everyone for coming, especially to Mary & Anahata for their long journey and Mick & Rhiannon for all their support!

We had a decidedly 'fishy' theme last night which was complemented nicely by a few 'sailor boys'. I wonder what theme will occur at the next one which (BTW) will be on Monday 9th September, same time, same place. I'll try to put a thread up nearer the time.

Meanwhile, enjoy what you're doing & see you around!

Great session last night, Guru. Always enjoy Barton nights. Not sure how the fish theme started but I think I might have been responsible for it! Looking forward to the next one, which, sadly, will be our last. Boo hoo.
