My wonderful co-host has already attended to this possibility and has arranged with our lovely Landlady that if the pub does get very busy on Bank Holiday Monday, she will open up the Function Room for us. Personally I hope it will be busy as it's a Fab room and we could really make ourselves at home there! See you there then Mr Guest, a pint is it? The pub did get a bit noisy towards the end (there was a bar extension) but we succeeded in making a good noise ourselves. I hope everyone enjoyed it as much as I did. Thanks to everyone for coming, especially to Mary & Anahata for their long journey and Mick & Rhiannon for all their support! We had a decidedly 'fishy' theme last night which was complemented nicely by a few 'sailor boys'. I wonder what theme will occur at the next one which (BTW) will be on Monday 9th September, same time, same place. I'll try to put a thread up nearer the time. Meanwhile, enjoy what you're doing & see you around! |
