Singaraound @ Barton, Beds.UK 9th Sept

Here we are once again with 'Around the Table' in the Bull Public House in Barton-le-Clay, Bedfordshire on Monday 9th September.

Starting at 8.30pm, this is a 'come-all-ye' for acoustic instruments & voices. We're very friendly & supportive (especially to new faces) & good beer is to be had at the bar!

Mick Pearce & Rhiannon will be joining us for their last evening 'down South' before moving house on Tuesday morning, so it promises to be a Fab session.

Come if you can - if not, put the next one in your diary - it'll be on 23rd September, same time, same place.

May you always have music!

That's brilliant

I'll bring my new whale song along

Eeeh Lad, I know I've been a bit 'prickly' at times, but no-one has ever called me that before! Maybe it's the hair......

Sounds like a great evening will ensue. I am investigating ways of getting to your out of the way country pub. Maybe the University could organise a 'folk bus' to ferry the mass of students who would want to come from Luton.

William Guest: Uni Folk Bus - what a lovely idea!!!! Have you not got a pair of roller skates???? If Breezy is coming maybe he could pick you up en route? Hope you can make it - should be a good one tonight!

Have to get J. onto that bus idea.

If anyone is going through, Harpenden, Luton or Harlington on their way to Barton, and wouldn't mind picking up a bloke and his guitar. Please let me know.

Hi Guru, I got out of work too late to make it this time. Next month I'll be able to come every time. Hope it's a good one, best wishes to Mick and Rhiannon!

Thanks to all that came to the session last night

Many thanks to Mick and Rhiannon for all their support

Good luck in Notts and with the move

Make Barton-Le-Clay a favourite holiday spot

Apologies to William Guest - I would have picked you up from Harlington but 'H' said you were a mad axe murderer

Last night, she told me who you are - I will e-mail my phone number so we can organise something next time

You've all done very well

Mr. Whale, No problems mate, I would have had trouble getting there by the time I left work. If you are who I assume you are I'll probably see you soon.

Willy

P.S. All this pseudonym business is rather confusing, I'm beginning to regret it.

Now where did I leave that axe

Ross: Welcome to the Mudcat!

Will do thread for the next session (which is on Monday 23rd September) nearer the time.

The postcode for the Bull at Barton is MK45 4LL & I'll mention that on the flyers & in the threads (as long as I remember) so that people can use Multimap (or similar) to locate the session. Another excellent tip from Hamish Currie!
