He's fantastic, lovely, amazing, wonderful, gorgeous, talented, lovely, wonderful, skillful and wonderful. After years of me trying and having dismal failures, despite therapy and training sessions, there's one thing I've not been able to do. I follow the wonderful mans' instructions and lo! I can do blickies, clickies, blue clicky things, hyperlinks, hypertext links, whatever the FAQ you want to call them! I CAN DO THEM!!!! Best birthday present so far! LTS |

For what it's worth folks...I actually COINED the term "Blue Clicky" (Joe Offer will confirm) but still couldn't do it for almost two years after. Great Mudcat minds tried to help me to no avail......until..... PETER T managed to explain it in language so basic that even a three year old could understand. Errr...make that a three year old with a TERRIBLE memory. Within two days I'd forgotten the whole damn thing, so much to Heather's disgust, I've written (in black felt pen) on the front of our computer. Sad, isn't it? Cheers Rick |

I printed out the code string (a href=htt etc ...) in VERY LARGE BLUE LETTERS and pasted it all the way across the bottom of my desktop. This way if I wander in in the middle of the night without my specs on I can still see the big letters. And since I did that, I've maybe used it three times. BUT ... it's there when I need it. And I love the term "blicky" or "blue clicky thing." For some reason, 'puter grates on my nerves. Maybe because it's too fond ... xo/ww |
