As of Tuesday 1st October, I will be redundant (it still hurts to say it) so, after Monday week, the Walrus will no longer be "The Walrus at Work", I'll still be around, but probably less frequently and at different hours. At my age, I'm sure the only reason I'm still working is that I work for myself. At least if I don't eat, the blame lies squarely on me and not some heartless mega-corporation. I wish you all better luck this week and in the future. Don't take it personally and get out there and pound the pavement before you get too depressed. Or if you are brave and foolhearty like me, start your own business. It isn't that difficult if you have a good idea. |
