An expert spoons player and unacompanied singer, he was instrumental in getting a number of projects off the ground, including Test Longsword, Basingclog and the Old Trout Band. He also had a long association with Broadstairs Folk Week where he celebrated his 59the Birthday earlier this year. His funeral is to take place at Basingstoke Crematorium on Monday 23rd September at 12.45. A service of rememberance will be held in Kent next year at Broadstairs Folk Week. Sadly missed but certainly not forgotten |

He was thus instrumental in getting me into the folk world (and hence causing musical anguish to many!). I remember he sang "Ticklers Jam". Happy memories. A month or so later he and my mother had a (minor) road accident in London. Small world! Steve |
