BS: 22 Sept, song room open

Will be opening up the song room in an hour from now, that's about 7.00pm GMT. Come on in and have a natter or a sing? Open Paltalk, click groups, click adult, click music, click Mudcat song circle.

See you there?

Have fun, all. I am now playing two churches most Sundays on top of the Saturday Night one, so by the time PalTalk rolls around I'm pretty much sung out. I'm afraid to just listen, for fear I'll find even more songs I want to learn, and right now we have a desktop full from the DT to work into a set list. We are being asked more to play beyond the church setting (yay!). So have fun, say hi to folks for me--

It's up and running now, give me a shout if you drop in, I'm still trying to tidy up!

Well, another evening on my own then...

Another 1/2 hour?

Should my best friend be telling me something?

People said that this sort of time was the best time for a song session on a Sunday, and now, for the 3rd or 4th week in succession, no-one has turned up...

Are people still keen for a session on Sundays? Should I be opening up later in the evening? Should I just not bother anymore? I've tried to remember to put the date in the song circle open threads, there's no room to put the time as well.....

Mudguard, you will have to get yourself a life!!

Lovely to see you are out there though, was beginning to think that everyone was either in a session in Hull, or out for the afternoon!

How are you?

Tired...
3 nights in a row with getting to bed after 3am and getting out of bed before 7am...
That's why I am going to bed now - despite the political tension caused by the election today - very tight race...
Right now it looks like a 305 to 302 parliament for labour+ecological against conservative+liberals...
Counting of the votes goes on...

Good night!

Been out excercising your rights again?

Take care dear, go get some sleep. Sorry you won't be coming over next month.... it would have been great to catch up with the news and such... Bratling is bigger and noisier, but has settled a lot at school now that she is allowed to read what she wants. She is frighteningly intelligent, and soaks up information like a sponge. She asks the most bizarre questions in the most awkward of places. I suspect our policy of being totally honest, open and as informative as possible may be a mistake. She wanted to know what the disposal bags in ladies toilets were for. Sensible question that deserved a sensible answer, but did she have to ask me in the middle of the Museum of London on a busy Saturday?

Well chaps, having been dumped out and sent a virus, I'm calling it a night.

I may not bother next week. Depends on whether you lot want anything or not.

My main excuse is that my daughter is now in her last year of GSCEs so I can't get to the PC on Sunday evenings at all now. Saturdays might be marginally better but we are more likely to have visitors round or be out ourselves. I don't think there will be a good date/time for me until next July! I will pop in and out if I can though if I know its happening.
