Can anyone help with the titles of tunes in this set by Caledon please. I'm especially interested in the lyrics of the mouth music bit. Thank you

Band: Caledon, "an all-star 7-piece band"
Album: "The Noble Trousers" - Fenn Music FMS 2071, 1996.

I found a web page from which you can play a 45-minute archived radio program that includes The Noble Trousers Set. Go here:
http://www.themistsofavalon.com/020707.html
then click on "2nd Hour." The Noble Trousers Set appears about 37 minutes into the program. The words are in Scots Gaelic, so I didn't try to transcribe it. Maybe someone else will.

Thanks Jim.

I have the tune in a celtic recopilation cd "Naciones Celtas II" edited by Putumayo. It's a great setting!

Yes, I read a bit about Davey Steele and the rest of the band, some coming from "Sileas". They are great.

I was looking for someone to help me with the lyrics 'cause as you say they are in Scottish gaelic and very dificult to transcribe. The other two tunes in the set are "Gavotten Ar Menez" and "The Ness Pipers"

Cheers Conrad
