Local pub, The Railway Inn, Thwaite Street, Cottingham 9near hull) has recently changed hands, and they are tring to get local bands/singers to play gigs there.Local Irish singer/songwriter David Elf was playing there tonight, but they want more people, so if any local bands want to play there call Jeanette on 01482 622981.
i dont know how much they pay, you will have to aks them yoorself.john

In general i would agree with Sorcha that peopleought to give some geographical indications to queries like this. But surely in this specific case any regular Mudcatter will know which country, which county, and which town from the style of the title, so nothing more is needed.

I used to work behind the bar there at the end of the 70`s, was a nice pub then, very popular with students from Hull Uni and locals who liked to look at students! When I worked there the landlord positively encouraged me to let my mates in for free, how the times they do change....................

alison, I know I'm being pedantic, but its allowed in reference to LoG. I think you'll find that you meant *precious* things (of which there are twelvety). You may be confusing it with the *special stuff* which is something else entirely....
