30 Sep 02 - 10:05 PM (#794527) Subject: RE: Fantasy Festival Lineup From: kendall Thanks MMario. For a while there it was looking like I would have to back out of the Getaway, but, certain nice folks, who might not want to be named, talked me into going anyway. So, lo and behold, I've noticed a change in the voice these past few days: it's getting stronger, and, I'm hoping to be able to sing as well as talk at the Getaway. Rick, I will be bringing my Apollo 12 string. Ask Seamus Kennedy what he thinks of it. |

01 Oct 02 - 10:18 AM (#794751) Subject: RE: Fantasy Festival Lineup From: wilco It would be great fun to get to meet all of these mudcatters, spend a week or two at an outdoor festival, and get to know everyone. My votes would be for all these good, kind mudcatters!!! Let's do it in East Tennessee (USA) first!!! Wilco in Tennessee |

01 Oct 02 - 04:39 PM (#795021) Subject: RE: Fantasy Festival Lineup From: dick greenhaus Maybe I'm just a hard-core traditionalist, but I can't imagine a better festival than Whitby Week. This year, there was over 1000 hours of music scheduled, featuring the likes of Brian Peters, Gordeanna McCulloch, Bob Blair, Heather Heywood, Gordon Tyrall, Aileen Carr, Graham Pirt, Roisin White, John Kirkpatrick, Alistair Anderson, Peta Webb....the whole list takes up a full page. Plus there's another 1000 hours of non-scheduled music in the pubs. Staggering! |
