03 Oct 02 - 07:08 PM (#796432) Subject: BS: Mudchat problems? From: RangerSteve for two days I had no trouble getting into the Mudchat room. Today, it's taking forever for it to download, and when I do get in, it takes about a minute for anything I type to show up on the screen, and I usually then get cut off with a window that says that an error has occured with the server, and I should restart the chat. Anyone else having this problem? |

From: Mr Red I PM'd Max with a glitch that he is probably aware of But it affects my hnadle. if you go looking for names with spaces in them and ask for "Mr" or "Mr " (note space) it throws a wobbly - name in full OK. Though obviously I didn't try on my own name so it might be character specific. Type "Max" and wild card throws up a fair number of Maxes (all of them? that would be a true max.) I haven't checked since day 1 so be warned anyway. |

It is pefectly safe (if a little odd) as it refuses access to the messages when clicked. It is not visible now so maybe it is a timing anomaly. |

Wed eve - managed a bit of conversation, but my BT phone connection kept breaking every 2 minutes. Thur lunch - got in no problem, but nobody else there. Last night - took 3-5 minutes to get in, then was told I wasn't logged in, or there were server problems, and BT kept playing up as well. Now - got in with no problems, but there's nobody there. Is it trying to tell me something? WassaiL! V |
