I am producing a new double CD compilation of Jake Thackray songs (no new material, just a retrospective) and we are having trouble getting a decent photo to use for the front cover artwork. All the pix we have are copyrighted and so of no practical use to us. So, my plea : Has anyone got any *privately taken* photos of Jake Thackray that they might loan us for use in our artwork ? We can't pay a fee except in kind (maybe a free copy of the CD ?) and all photos will be returned. From: the lemonade lady I have a friend who lives in Clun, in Shropshire, and he used to work and appear with him (so he says) I could ask him if he has any.
