11 Oct 02 - 05:38 AM (#800919) Subject: BS: Translation to Scots Gaelic Help? From: Scabby Douglas Hi They don't come any more BS than this one.. We have designed a coat of arms for our department in the office where I work, and now we need a motto. Ideally, I'm looking for a translation of the sense of : It was like that when I got here... Or something like - When I arrived, it was already broken... you get the idea.. Other suggested mottos have included "Keine Raketenwissenschaft" - no rocket science. and "Valeo, non volo" - I am able but unwilling. If any one can help, I'd be very grateful.. Cheers Steven |
