17 Oct 02 - 10:55 AM (#805366) Subject: RE: Now, I've seen everything. (Guitar) From: Rick Fielding Hate to be a nay-sayer nerdy-boy but...... couldn't he have used a classier bridge-saddle set-up? Those adjustable thingys will definitely not bring out the full resonance of the glass. The inexpensive tuners (three on a plate!!) are hardly what I'd expect on a 19,000 dollar (well that's what he wants!) guitar. May I suggest the stained glass Vaverleys. Now the "nite-lite" idea ain't bad. You could just leave the guitar plugged in beside your bed.....much better than one of those battery lights from the Dollar store. Nerdy-boy |

(Guitar) From: wysiwyg Yeah, there is a warning not to string it with real strings, so it's the prototype for the improved later versions also mentioned, that have inner reinforcement. A pretty toy. Or a sales sample to gain commissions. ~S~ |
