I used to hear this song about 10 years ago and would like to revive it to use at a jam session. Anybody know it? Jeep

Don't know it and didn't find anything with Google. Give Cody a cookie from me.

A song on a similar theme is David Bromberg's SOMEONE ELSE'S BLUES.

Link fixed. --JoeClone, 19-Oct-02.

The Taylor Harvey Band recorded ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO COMPLAIN ABOUT BLUES on "A Place to Call My Own" (2004). Here's an excerpt that I transcribed from a sample:

I woke up this morning. My baby was gone.
She left me breakfast with my favorite ... on.
I looked at the nightstand and what did I see?
She left ev'ry dollar just waiting there for me.
I'd like to complain. I'm paying my dues,
And I got those absolutely nothing to complain about blues.
