Does anyone have info on Mountain Dulcimer events around that time? (10th April onward for 3 weeks). We'd like to build our trip around some Old Time and Mountain Dulcimer events. 21 Oct 02 - 05:59 PM (#808112) Subject: RE: Dulcimer events in US next Easter From: catspaw49 Probably a little late for you, but May 16-18 are Dulcimer Days in historic Roscoe Village near Coshocton in eastern Ohio. It's a beautiful setting, draws LOADS of players and is sponsored by a music shop in the village, Wildwood Music, which sells outstanding instruments (guitars too). There are Hammered players on every corner and in every store and lap players just about anyplace they can find a piece of open lawn or street. The village itself is a restored canal town from the Ohio Canal days. It's a wonderful fest!!! Spaw |
