You know what we need in these far-flung camps is places to stay overnight mid-journey, so that say Portland people can drive to Seattle and then stay the night and drive on to Vancouver BC. And vise versa.....sometimes the journeys are just too long...if I was in Seattle still I would volunteer my house..of course if Long Beach Washington is on anyone's way (I guess I would have to say female because it is essentially a studio apartment) let me know. Wish the train went in one day..I think at least going up you have to stay overnight..it might go straight back though. Is this in the permanent camp thread? IF PEOPle are thinking of starting a camp, just go for it. You will need to worry about insurance probably, but some camps will have their own and you might just need a rider. mg |

A ways out of Vancouver B.C....try to get there in daylight if possible. Cost is only $55 US until Oct 31 I think. Trust me on this, you won't regret signing up...you might shed a few curses as you try to find it but it will all be worthwhile. mg |
