Try Rippon - not sure of the venue but I know they've got one. Do a search on Folk yorkshire and I'm sure you'll find the address.

Northallerton Folk Club is probably the closest (about 10/15 miles).
It is held on a Friday evening at the Oddfellows Arms (High street, North End)

Ripon Folk Club - Sundays - At the Black Lion, Skelton-on-Ure as of last week, come down the Ripon by-pass, turn left towards the racecourse, pass the race course on your right, over small river bridge - 100 yds or so further on go right ( the signs read 'Skelton' & also 'Newby Hall' )anther 2 miles or so and into the village of Skelton. It's the only pub, it's on your left.

Then there's the Knox Arms, Knox Lane, Harrogate on Saturday nights - first roundabout as you get into Harrogate from Ripon, go left, then seventh ( bout quarter of mile at most )turning lrft down Knox Lane-follow this on to 't'junction, the pub is in front of you. Just go right & left into carpark.
The room is outside of the main pub buildings up some stairs. Get your drinks at the bar first.
