Hey guys:

It's raining out there. Oh what to do if it rains tomorrow?

Don't you folks have a "rain contingency plan?" I thought Amos mentioned a place to meet when the weather's bad.

Genie:

You're under the assumption that banjo pickers know when to get out of the rain.

If it is actually raining, which I doubt, I will not be there.

If not I will be there with my blind friend Joe. He has a very good ear.

But I would rather keep it dry!

Sounds good to me. I'll tell Bear & Janet in the morning.

Well, it's drizzling this morning at 730 local, but I am still praying for not-rain by noon. There's been so much of the darned stuff you'd think the sprites could save a little for Sunday at the blinking park!

It has stopped raining here in La Mesa, I hope it holds. Funny, Mike my mandolin player has decided to show up to day and it might be a rain out.

We had a fine time, mostly shade but pleasant weather, TWO mandolins, TWO basses, Hugh's impeccable banjo picking, TWO guitars, and even a BODHRAN!!!

Dunno about anyone else but I enjoyed the hell out of it.

Thanks, Hugh, Bear, Sue, and the new Mandolinist, the visitors, and Joan O'Bodhran. Great afternoon!

LOL!

I've been called "Joan of Arc" and even "Parnelli Joan" (for my appalling driving skills) but never "Joan O'Bodhran.

Garsh!

***bg*** Well, PoC, it was all the handle I could come up with at the time. Do come 'round next time and throw some driving rhythms into our midst!!
